Professional Profile
My practice isn’t as specific as others within the screen media bachelor, as my direction has mostly been rooted in Journalism for a majority of my time at university. Overall, I’ve had experience in creating visual, audio and written pieces for news-based purposes, and have only truly dabbled in written film reviews in regards to other forms of media-based projects. In creating my videos and audio pieces in further projects, i have gained more experience through my journalism course and have therefore adopted a style similar to how news is laid out, with only a brief deviation through the documentary class giving a different perspective. However, i have also learned how to construct podcasts through a previous class also, which adopts a different method of producing audio-media, so it can range depending on what is required of the pieces. My method of writing film reviews is much more casual and less formal than typical newspaper articles and news reports.
